Are your invitations the same as ones sold in
retail stores?
Yes! All of our invitations are the
exact same as the ones found in
the store. The only difference is we're able to offer a
discount because we have the huge overhead.
Do I need to order 25 more invitations to be safe?
Yes! As a rule we recommend 25 extra
invitations to account for any last minute guests. Ordering
25 more is less expensive as re-orders are charged as a new
set of 25.
What are informals?
Informals are usually used as Thank
You card. The informal card typically matches the invitation
ensemble.
Can I see a proof before I place my order?
Carlson Craft orders provide a virtual
proof which will be shown before you finalize your order.
Do you have a catalog?
No. We have all of our invitations
online for your convenience.
How do I request a monetary gift since I don't plan to
register for gifts?
Printing "a monetary gift is
requested" is a breach of proper etiquette. It is generally
requested that your desire be passed on by word of mouth.
When should I mail my invitations?
Generally it is recommended that you
mail your invitations 4-6 weeks before the wedding. If you
are having a lot of out of town guests, you may want to send
them even earlier.
How do I let my guests know children are not
invited?
Printing "No children" is in poor taste
and will often offend your guests. A better option is to
convey the same message but with a gentler tone:
"Adult reception" on reception card
"Number of Adults _____" on response card.
